I have just returned from spending a lovely week with Fiona, Richard and
darling Caitlin. I enjoyed lots of baby cuddles, a trip to the shops and

Exciting times ahead!

At last I'm back, only 3 months later!! Where have those 3 months gone? We did have a lovely four days away in Bright, so pretty over there, and Beechworth has the best toy shop I've seen in a long time!!!!
Well, only 5 weeks until little Marshmallow (Fiona's name for baby) is due, I'm sooooo excited. I've been washing all the baby clothes I have collected, ready to take them to Melbourne when we go next weekend for Fiona's birthday. Be ready for multi baby photos coming up!!!!!!

Back Again!

Well, here I am back again after a month of not writing anything. We had a lovely time visiting John, Nicole and Jasmyn in New South Wales. They live across the road from the sea so we had some beautiful morning walks along the beach. We also got to drive around and have a look at Byron Bay, Ballina, Murwillumbah and Mullumbimby. It is so green up there and so pretty. Now we have been home 2 and a half weeks, Peter is back at work and I started back at KYB last Friday. Next weekend, Karen, Fiona and Richard are coming for Karen's birthday, we look forward to seeing them.

Enough heat already!!

I am getting so slack, here it is after both Christmas and New Year and I haven't written anything since November!! We enjoyed a lovely mild Christmas day, ate too much as usual, opened lots of pressies and hung out with family. An exciting announcement was made by Fiona & Richard.......they will be parents in July.....Yay, making us Grandparents for the fourth time, I can't wait. Next Christmas will be a special one with this new little person joining us, we are feeling so blessed. We spent a very quiet New Year, just home alone and in bed well before the new year arrived. Next week we will fly up to Coolangatta then drive down to New South Wales to spend a week with our son, daughter in law and youngest grand daughter. I'm hoping the weather will not be to hot and humid, we have just had 6 days of 40 degrees and over, I think it's going to be a long hot summer.

Recovering from the heat !

The past few days have been such a relief from the days of 40+ degrees heat of earlier in the week! I'm hoping it wasn't a taste of things to come this summer! I had an enjoyable morning with some of our KYB ladies watching a DVD of a speaker at the CWCI 50th birthday events, it was a moving and encouraging talk on being Jesus' sheep. I'm looking forward to watching/hearing next weeks' DVD. Speaking of next week, my sister Kath & I are using our senior's free train ticket to go to Melbourne for the day to have a look at the Myer Christmas window and, of course, do a spot of shopping............as you do. That's it for tonight, it's almost my bedtime, so goodnight for now.
